After you take this step, we'll text you and welcome you to the Gathering! We'll answer all of your questions about the Gathering too. You'll also be notified of all the Gathering's upcoming events and announcements.
2ND: JOIN A GROUP
We have 2 different kinds of groups at the Gathering, connect groups and discipleship groups.
Connect groups are Bible studies or interest based community groups that gather in people's homes or anywhere around the island throughout the week. You can sign up here if you'd like to check out a connect group and the connect group leader will contact you to let you know all the details. If you're interested in starting a connect group you can fill in your info below too and we'll send you a connect group leader application.
Sundays at 4PM
Discipleship groups are intentional groups of 4 people of the same gender that gather for 90 minutes together every week to grow as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Each person in a discipleship group commits to:
1. Completing the homework each week before the group gathers.
2. That the group only gathers if all 4 people are able to attend.
3. Offer themselves fully to God to be transformed.
4. Be real with each other.
5. Starting their own discipleship group within 3 months of the first group ending.
Discipleship groups meet about 50 times going through the book "Discipleship Essentials" by Greg Ogden. Pastor Brady regularly hosts discipleship group hangouts where all members of all discipleship groups are invited to go to the beach, hike, get food, or hang out together.
You can sign up here if you'd like to join a discipleship group. You can request to have certain people in your group or you can be matched up with a group that fits you well.
