Last Friday Nights
Last Friday Night is our monthly worship and testimony night where we go deeper with God and each other. “To love at all is to be vulnerable” and at LFN we are real and authentic with one another. We gather for LFN at various intimate settings around town. It begins with free pizza and hanging out together. Then we sing lots worship songs with a featured testimony in between. After the featured testimony there is an open testimony time where anyone can share a short story of what God is doing their lives, and then we have communion. LFN is a powerful and authentic part of who we are as a church as we share our lives with each other and let the Holy Spirit lead.
Surfing Sundays
Once a month we sunset surf together after the Gathering! We surf Publics surf spot in Waikiki. On Surfing Sundays we provide a free meal for everyone too starting at 3:30PM! We paddle out into the ocean at 5:30PM for a beautiful evening in the water together. We love the ocean and we love living life together in God's creation.
College Outreach
The Gathering has an official partnership with University of Hawaii Cru and we are also connected with Christian clubs at Hawaii Pacific University and Chaminade University. We connect naturally with college kids and have a heart to encourage them in their faith and journey in life.
Waikiki Outreach
"To reach people who have never been reached before we have to do things that have never been done before."
Waikiki Beach is the most famous beach in the world where locals, tourists, and homeless gather. Our mission field is right here. We get to know the homeless and help them out. There are so many opportunities to reach people for Jesus in our neighborhood as a church and through connect groups.
